The Postbiotic Approach — Yeast Extracts Contrary to common belief, the yeasts used in cosmetics aren't alive. Both Masque Vivant and Sérum Vivant rely on yeast extracts selected for the functional properties of their metabolites — bioactive compounds naturally produced during fermentation. The signature yeast extracts in the Vivant range come from the fermentation of Saccharomyces cerevisiae, rich in amino acids and bioactive metabolites. Acting as postbiotics, they help support the balance of blemish-prone skin.
The Prebiotic Approach — Inulin Inulin is a prebiotic polysaccharide that selectively nourishes the beneficial microorganisms naturally present on the skin's surface. By encouraging microbial diversity, it helps maintain the balance of the skin microbiome and supports both barrier function and skin comfort.
The Biomimetic Approach — Dendritic Polylysine This new-generation biopolymer, derived from a fermentation process, is made up of multiple lysine units — an amino acid naturally involved in improving the skin's appearance. Its unique three-dimensional structure gives it a strong affinity for the microorganisms associated with blemish imbalances, helping to limit the microbiological disruptions that perpetuate breakouts.

Sérum Vivant's tolerance and efficacy were tested under dermatological control over 28 days.

Like Masque Vivant before it, Sérum Vivant has an assertive character — a singular scent drawn from the biological richness of its fermented extracts, and a natural brown colour that comes from that same original composition. The texture is lightweight, aqueous, and slightly viscous, with a non-greasy finish designed specifically for skin prone to blemishes.
How to Use It
